Dear Haute Mama... Flowers for Alli

So, since the launch of Haute Mama, I've had all sorts of fun requests pop-up in my inbox from fellow hauties looking for this and that and wanting my suggestions, which I am more than happy to provide, because it means I have an excuse to be browsing the web when I should really be cleaning my house with eco-friendly products that just don't really work all that well (do you feel me on this one?). Thus, I've decided to start posting some "Dear Haute Mamas" so that the answers to your questions can be shared for the common good. Please feel free to email me or add comments if you've got a hankering for something in particular.

Let's get started, shall we? Miss Alli is looking for some floral dresses that are cute, affordable and flattering. I think I have the third part covered, cause Miss A has legs for miles and looks good in just about everything. I kept prices under a $100 (with one exception- I couldn't help myself) and I'm pretty sure I nailed the cute thing too. So, let's see here...check, check, and check! Enjoy!

I'm pretty much obsessed with the silky watercolor floral print on this gorg dress by Vintage Havana for $57 !!

Please try and disregard the model here, because she is clearly very hungry. However, this dress by Mine, for $78, won't break the bank and is uber-feminine perfection- and the soft pink and purple palette will flatter just about everyone.

This little Floral Kitty Dress from Fled Flare, has a slightly less forgiving shape, but Miss Alli, who is long and lithe can most definitely pull it off, and at $39, she most definitely should!

And ladies, our friends at Forever 21 have done it again. I think I'm buying this bargain beauty for an Easter Sunday debut. Just $24.80- yes, please.

Lastly, we've got the big splurge- but I'd hardly call $120 a major splurge. How gorge is this silk cut-away tank dress from Martin & Osa? Lovely enough for a summer wedding, but equally perfect for a fun lunch in flat sandals!

  1. Jess, You rock, love them all and am planning on some purchases! Thank you, thank you...your flattering words do not hurt either ;) But I have to tell you something, you seem to be quite the lithe one, you are definitely living up to the haute mama reputation...in short...you look amazing!!! Now, when you get around to figuring out how to keep a 2 year old in his bed for a nap, that would be much appreciated as well ;) ha ha

  2. Fit, maybe, but I got too much booty to ever be lithe. I am probably going to be keeping Hud in his crib until he's about 12, so I may not be the best person to ask. We did, however, have a night or two of holding the door closed in Max's room, until he fell asleep on the floor. I think that did the trick.
